Calling all Paintball Players:
Wheat State Camp has been gracious to allow our group to participate in the Paintball activities during the Men's Recharge. As we know this can be a fun but potentially dangerous activity and each person that plans to enjoy the paintball needs to download the below waiver and have it signed before enjoying the game. Please make sure that you bring the signed copy to the Men's Recharge on September 27th. There is a $15 per person charge that you will pay to camp before you are able to participate. The camp will take cash or card and pay at the paintball office. This form needs to be signed by the parents before arriving at camp!

Activities:
Booths:
During all meals and before and after services, we invite you to browse the display booths of the various ministries in the tabernacle. These ministries feature special contributors from local churches and schools who have materials for sale. These include music CD’s, gospel tracts, Bibles and books.
Food:
We enjoy two meals at the Recharge prepared by the staff of Wheat State Retreat Center. Evening meal will include: Pulled pork sandwiches, hot links, baked beans, cheesy potato casserole, cobbler and salad bar. Breakfast will include: Biscuits & gravy, breakfast casserole with eggs, sausage, potatoes & cheese, Toast, Oatmeal & cereal bar and fruit. Iced beverages are available in the Rec Center for a small fee, and coffee and tea is offered free of charge.
Music:
Next to the preaching, a highlight of the Recharge is the singing. All of our congregational music is focused on the great hymns of the faith. Following Friday’s service, the dining hall becomes a music hall. Men are welcome to bring their instruments and strum along as the room fills for a Gospel sing-along.
We also record all of the preaching services at the Recharge, and those recordings are available for purchase. Sets of six CDs are available for $20.00, Memory stick for $15 and include all of the preaching and some special and congregational music.
Basketball:
What campground would be complete without a basketball court? The camp offers two full courts shielded from elements with solid regulation-height goals. Both courts have been recently resurfaced and are marked for team play. Dunking is allowed, so bring your court shoes. Court is open from 1:30 to 4:30 on Friday afternoon.
Paintball:
A highlight for many who attend the Recharge is paintball. The camp maintains thirty tournament-style paintball markers and a professionally-designed combat course. Matches consist of two teams with five men each and they battle for ten minutes. We use summer weather paintballs, which break easier on impact. The wise paint baller will come prepared with an extra set of clothes and shoes, as the combat course has been known to get a bit muddy at times. Paintball is open from 1:30 to 4:30 Friday. There will be a charge of $15 for three games with paint balls included. Additional hoppers for $5 can be purchased if needed. All purchases will be paid at the course location and they take cash or card.
Sand Volleyball:
Wheat State Camp has a sand volleyball area that you can play at your own pace. Weather permitting, this is a nice way to unwind from a long trip in the church bus. Don’t feel like dodging paintballs or playing basketball? Enjoy a leisurely game of sand volleyball.
Horseshoes:
Wheat State Camp has a Horse shoe area where you can show your friends to make a ringer! The area is located just South of the Tabernacle with two different pits available. Unwind and throw some shoes, horse shoes that is, during the early afternoon time after arriving at the camp.
